TIMOTHY INITIATIVE

Do you have or would you be willing to establish a scholarship fund for students preparing for ministry?

Current issues

Ministerial Students graduate with up to $100,000 in debt and enter the ministry averaging $45,000 yearly.

There has been a steady 10+ year decline in students preparing for ministry.

There is an annual net decline in American churches both in the number of churches, church attendance and a historic and steady decline in giving to churches.

There is a steady decline in Americans identifying as Christians but an increase of Muslims, Atheists and eastern religions.

Strategic Actions

Ask God regularly (personally and publicly) “…to send more workers into his fields.”

Challenge your church (general church service, youth group event, small group or ?) at least annually to prayerfully consider ministry options; vocationally, bi-vocationally and voluntarily.

Encourage and pray for those who are responding to His call.

Invest in the future thru educational scholarships.
